Carolina in the Fall™ presented by Wilkes Communications, Inc has announced the addition of a new Dance Stage to their festival. The dance stage will be known as the Great State Dance Stage will be located inside the Great State Auction Company building.
This stage will provide a very intimate setting for the musicians and the audience alike. This venue will be on a first come first serve basis and will require the festival wrist band for entrance. Currently, there a two Contra Dance sessions scheduled (with others to be added) and two clogging sessions. Instruction will be given to those that want to try their skills at these regional dances.
“Our goal for Carolina in the Fall™ is to create a true downtown festival that incorporates the buildings and the beauty of Historic Downtown Wilkesboro.” “We see lots of opportunities to include our downtown merchants in the festival” says festival director Michelle Isom.
“We welcome the news that the festival will expand the number of stages and include more of our downtown assets. Wilkesboro is a beautiful little town and we look forward to welcoming folks from around the nation to our hometown” says Mayor Mike Inscore.
Carolina in the Fall™ is making its’ festival debut this year in Downtown Wilkesboro on September 25th and 26th. Gates will open for the festival each day at 9 A.M. with music beginning at 11 A.M. and will continue until 9 P.M. in the evening. Each evening of the festival, VIP ticket holders will be treated to the Carolina Jam™ at the Yadkin Valley Event Center at the Wilkesboro Holiday Inn Express. This once in a lifetime band jam experience is scheduled to begin each evening at 10:00 and conclude at Midnight.
Two day festival passes are $20.00 and two day VIP passes are $60.00. Tickets are limited and are available online at www.carolinainthefall.org.
