Carolina in the Fall audience at night

August 4, 2015

Carolina in the Fall™ presented by Wilkes Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will be auctioning a one of a kind, handmade Bob Kogut fiddle during this year’s festival. Bob's fiddles are known for having a sweet, rich voice, without harsh, strident overtones. They are all handmade and can be customized to a fiddler’s preferences. Each violin is unique and is given its own name when it is completed. The name may reflect a characteristic of the violin or be symbolic of a particular milestone in the maker's own life.

The fiddle will be on display during the festival. This will be a silent auction with the winner being announced during the last evening of the festival. Bob will be on-hand to present the high bidder with his custom made violin.

Other items to be auctioned during the festival include a handmade Lyle Wheeler rocker, two Jens Kruger personally autographed Deering Banjos (one each evening) and a two person 2016 Carolina in the Fall Festival Package (including three nights at the Holiday Inn Express and two VIP tickets).

Carolina in the Fall™ is making its’ festival debut this year in Downtown Wilkesboro on September 25th and 26th. Gates will open for the festival each day at 10 A.M. with music beginning at 11 A.M. and will continue until 9 P.M. in the evening. Each evening of the festival, VIP ticket holders will be treated to the Carolina Jam™ at the Yadkin Valley Event Center at the Wilkesboro Holiday Inn Express. This once in a lifetime band jam experience is scheduled to begin each evening at 10:00 and conclude at Midnight.

Two day festival passes are $25.00 (until September 1st) and two day VIP passes are $60.00. Tickets are limited and are available online at www.carolinainthefall.org.
