Carolina in the Fall audience at night

Carolina in the Fall™ presented by Wilkes Communications, Inc. is seeking volunteers for the music and food festival to be held in Wilkesboro on September 22nd and 23rd. Volunteers are needed for many functions during the festival and will work 4 hour shifts. Each person will receive a CITF Volunteer Tee-Shirt and a one-day pass for the day of their work.

Application Forms are available at the office or online at www.carolinainthefall.org under the Get Involved section. All volunteers will be selected by September 1st, so applications need to be made as soon as possible.

The Third Annual Carolina in the Fall™ Music and Food Festival takes place this year in the newly renovated Downtown Wilkesboro on September 22nd and 23rd. Gates will open for the festival each day at 10 A.M. with music beginning at noon on Friday and 11 AM on Saturday and will continue until 10 P.M. in the evening. Each evening of the festival, VIP ticket holders will be treated to the Carolina Jam™ at the Yadkin Valley Event Center at the Wilkesboro Holiday Inn Express. This once in a lifetime band jam experience is scheduled to begin each evening at 11:00 and last for two hours.

Included in the Festival is the 3rd Annual Carolina in the Fall Food Truck Championship. Food trucks from around the State will converge on Main Street to feed festival goers and compete for the $500 first prize and the championship trophy.

This year’s lineup includes The Kruger Brothers, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, The Black Lillies, Darin & Brooke Aldridge, The Hunts and many more. Single Day Festival passes are $35.00, Two Day Passes are $65.00 and two day VIP passes are $110.00. Tickets are limited and are available online at www.carolinainthefall.org.
