Carolina in the Fall™ presented by Wilkes Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce the line-up of Food Trucks that will be serving and competing during this year’s festival. The first annual Carolina in the Fall Food Truck Championship will feature some of the region’s best food trucks. With the goal of celebrating all areas of Western North Carolina culture, these trucks represent some of the best regional menus and will provide festival attendees with amazing choices of food to enjoy during the festival.

Included in the line-up are Appalachian Smoke BBQ, Hendersonville, NC; The Real Food Truck, Asheville, NC; Root Down Food Truck, Asheville, NC; Decrepit Old Geezers Sausages (DOGS), Asheville, NC; Poor Man BBQ, Morganton, NC; Taqueria El Azteca, Greensboro, NC; LoYo on the Go, Durham, NC; The Humble Pig, Cary, NC; Kona Ice, Greensboro, NC; Bulkogi Korean BBQ Truck, Cary, NC; Porter House, Greensboro, NC; Home Slice, Greensboro, NC; Wingz on Wheelz, Statesville, NC; OMG Chicken, Raleigh, NC and Bebos American Bistro, Cornelius, NC.

In addition to three Festival judges, festival goers will rate the trucks and their input will contribute to the final scores and determine the overall champion Food Truck. The winning Truck will receive the CITF Food Truck Championship trophy and the winning prize of $500. Additional trophies will be given for People’s Choice and Best Themed Truck.

Wilkesboro’s downtown restaurants, The 50’s (breakfast and lunch), Dooleys and Nanasan will also be open during the festival for folks that want to enjoy some sit-down local flavor.

Carolina in the Fall™ is making its’ festival debut this year in Downtown Wilkesboro on September 25th and 26th. Gates will open for the festival each day at 10 A.M. with music beginning at 11 A.M. and will continue until 9 P.M. in the evening. Each evening of the festival, VIP ticket holders will be treated to the Carolina Jam™ at the Yadkin Valley Event Center at the Wilkesboro Holiday Inn Express. This once in a lifetime band jam experience is scheduled to begin each evening at 10:00 and conclude at Midnight.

Two day festival passes are $30.00 and two day VIP passes are $60.00. Tickets are limited and are available online at www.carolinainthefall.org.
