Carolina in the Fall™ presented by Wilkes Communications, Inc. announced the addition of several new bands to the festival lineup. With the goal of celebrating western North Carolina culture, several regional Americana/ Bluegrass bands for the area have been added to the long list of artists. Time Sawyer, Bandits Roost, The Neighbors, The Hook and Bullet, Back Porch Bluegrass, The Idle Time Band, The Lovette Brothers, Rocky Point Band, Beyond the Blue, Uncle Joe and the Shady Rest, champion guitarist Presley Barker and champion mandolin player Jonah Horton will bring their talents to the Carolina in the Fall™ stages. These bands join The Kruger Brothers, Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, Balsam Range and The Secret Sisters for the inaugural presentation of Carolina in the Fall™ in downtown Wilkesboro.
“With the addition of these excellent western North Carolina bands, Carolina in the Fall™ is fulfilling its’ mission of celebrating the music of the region. From gospel to bluegrass to roots music, these folks will bring their own special sound to the stages of Carolina in the Fall™“ says festival director Michelle Isom.
Carolina in the Fall™ is making its’ festival debut this year in Downtown Wilkesboro on September 25th and 26th. Gates will open for the festival each day at 10 A.M. with music beginning at 11 A.M. and will continue until 9 P.M. in the evening. Each evening of the festival, VIP ticket holders will be treated to the Carolina Jam™ at the Yadkin Valley Event Center at the Wilkesboro Holiday Inn Express. This once in a lifetime band jam experience is scheduled to begin each evening at 10:00 and conclude at Midnight.
Two day festival passes are $20.00 and two day VIP passes are $60.00. Tickets are limited and are available online at www.carolinainthefall.org.
